1. Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed
Married couple Rosie and Chris Ramsey vent about each others’ annoying habits on this banter-filled podcast, which anyone in a long-term relationship will be able to relate to.
Their on-air chemistry and silliness will have you in stitches, and you’ll soon find yourself laughing along to the most unusual topics, like toothpaste etiquette. Each week, the husband and wife duo take questions not just from the public but a celebrity guest too, like Katherine Ryan and Jason Manford.
2. Dear Joan and Jericha
This dark British comedy sees faux agony aunts Joan Damry and Jericha Domain (Julia Davis and Vicki Pepperdine) assist members of the public with their ‘intimate’ problems, dishing out the worst relationship advice imaginable.
Outrageous and unforgettable, their backwards take on relationship counselling – and their distinct lack of sympathy for their guests – will have you snorting into your morning coffee.
3. Off Menu
If you had to choose, what would be your dream meal? In this light-hearted podcast, comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster invite special guests into their fictional restaurant to each choose their favourite starter, main course, side dish, dessert and drink.

This weekly podcast welcomes comedians, actors, directors, writers, authors and musicians into comedian Marc Maron’s world.
As the godfather of comedy-interview podcasting, Maron is totally candid with his guests, and often leads his subjects into illuminating, revealing and philosophical conversations.
The great thing about this WTF with Marc Maron is that there are over 1,000 episodes to burn through, so if you’re looking for a binge-worthy pod to pop on in the background, Maron is definitely your guy.
5. The Guilty Feminist
Every episode this hit podcast starts with the sentence ‘I’m a feminist but…’.
Host and comedian Deborah Frances-White invites celebrity guests to share all the everyday ways they feel they’ve failed ‘feminism’ – like the time she went on women’s rights march, popped into a department store to use the loo, and got distracted trying out face cream.
As well as providing plenty of laughs, Frances-White unpicks the small hypocrisies and fears around feminism that serve to undermine the overall effort. Previous guests include Emma Thompson, Sara Pascoe and Jessica Fostekew.
