Regardless of how well you concentrated in history class, you probably think you’re vaguely familiar with British heritage, and may even know your way around UK World Heritage Sites.

Perennial tourist-magnets like Stonehenge, the Tower of London and the Giant’s Causeway rank among the UK’s 32 official UNESCO world heritage sites, but so too do some underappreciated treasures whose UNESCO status has not yet earned them stardom.
